To ensure the safety of the Hangzhou Asian Games and effectively enhance emergency response capabilities, on September 8th, the Yuhuan Passenger Transport Center carried out riot and counter-terrorism drills.
In order to ensure the safety and smooth progress of the anti-terrorism drill, the safety leadership group of Yuhuan Passenger Transport Center formulated a plan for the anti-terrorism and riot drill, deployed escape routes, and clarified the responsibilities and division of labor of each position. The person in charge of the passenger transport center organized security forces and staff for pre drill training, and provided detailed explanations on the use methods and precautions of equipment such as shields, batons, and riot steel forks, making full preparations for the orderly implementation of the anti-terrorism and riot emergency evacuation drill.
This drill was conducted in the form of a simulated scenario. Around 4 pm, a staff member played the role of a "thug" carrying a travel bag with controlled knives into the waiting hall. When the bag passed through the security checkpoint, the staff noticed something unusual and prepared to open it for inspection. Seeing his horse feet exposed, the "thug" suddenly lost control of his emotions and pushed the security checkpoint personnel to flee. The staff promptly evacuated the passengers present, and the security personnel surrounded him with shields and riot steel forks. Finally, the "thug" was successfully captured.
Through this anti-terrorism drill, the awareness of riot and anti-terrorism security among personnel in various positions and their ability to respond to sudden terrorist attacks have been effectively improved, providing favorable support for the safe escort of the Asian Games.
