The predecessor of Chumen Passenger Transport Co., Ltd. was Chumen Passenger Transport Center, established in 1995. It was the first and only joint-stock public passenger transport station in Taizhou City at that time. Since its establishment, the company has been rated as the "Civilized Demonstration Window" of the provincial transportation system by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation for three consecutive times. It has been rated as a "Civilized Unit" and "Civilized Service Demonstration Point" by the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Government twice, and has been awarded honors such as "Advanced Collective in Spring Transportation Work" by the Yuhuan City Transportation Management Department multiple times.

In 1998, the Chumen Passenger Transport Center was relocated from Chengjiao Village in Chumen Town to Zhongshan Village in Chumen Town, covering an area of 18000 square meters with a building area of 4620 square meters.
In 2014, an investment of over 45 million yuan was made to initiate the renovation project of the station building complex.
In November 2017, the comprehensive building was completed and accepted.
In May 2018, the comprehensive building was completed and put into use. The comprehensive building covers an area of 3500 square meters, with a building area of 15242 square meters.
At present, the Chumen Passenger Transport Center operates 90 long-distance buses and 1000 short distance buses to various parts of the country every day, transporting 7000 passengers per day.
