The Yuhuan Passenger Transport Center is located in the central area of the main urban area of Yuhuan. It was invested and constructed by Zhejiang Yuqi Transportation Group Co., Ltd. It was put into use in October 2006 and is a three-star level automobile passenger station in Zhejiang Province. The center covers a total area of 46667 square meters, with a total construction area of 41470 square meters and a total construction investment of 120 million yuan. It is planned to send more than 2000 trips per day and transport more than 20000 passengers per day. It is a first-class passenger station approved by the Ministry of Transport, an important transportation hub for the island of Yuhuan, and an important window for the outside world.
The center currently has 31 medium and long-distance bus routes, including 13 inter provincial, 11 inter municipal, and 7 inter county, connecting important transportation hubs such as power stations and airports. There are 13 short distance buses in the station, leading to various towns and streets in the city. There are urban bus and taxi stops in the surrounding area, achieving effective connection between different transportation modes. There are also ticket and high-speed train ticket sales points to meet the different travel needs of citizens. There are bus parking lots, minibus parking lots, and underground parking lots, with 127 bus parking spaces and more than 190 car parking spaces. It is equipped with bus and car maintenance points, car washing yards, new energy vehicle charging stations, etc., and has certain vehicle supporting service functions.
The overall service functions of the center are complete, with ticket halls, general passenger waiting rooms, tourist waiting halls, and mother and baby rooms. The tourist waiting hall covers an area of over 2000 square meters and can provide VIP style services to over 500 tourists at the same time.
